Tranquil Collection » Blea Tarn

Blea Tarn lies at the top of the pass between Dungeon Ghyll at the head of Great Langdale and Fell Foot Farm at the head of Little Langdale.

The road is steep and narrow but the reward is one of the loveliest views in the Lake District.

In this picture the dark still waters of Blea Tarn are reflecting the blue sky, fluffy white clouds, trees and mountains, whilst in the distance stands the Langdale Pikes.
